The Model Dominion is affiliated with Independent Modeling, Tampa Bay Modeling, Florida Modeling Career, Advanced Model, Aurora PhotoArts Tampa Photography and Design, and Passinault Industries LLC. It is a Passinault.Com property. The official model testing and evaluation, modeling portfolio photography, composite card, and talent headshot services provider for the models of the Model Dominion is Aurora PhotoArts Tampa Photography and Design. Although our model members are not required to use our affiliated Tampa photography and design partner for their modeling portfolios and their professional modeling career tools, Aurora PhotoArts has, consistently, been the choice of professional models and talent since 2000. In our opinion, Aurora PhotoArts is the best source of modeling portfolios and modeling career tools in the Tampa Bay modeling market, as well as Florida.

Welcome to the official
web site of the Model Dominion. This web site will officially launch in 2011
(We are having fun with the organization, site design, and content right now;
consider us a stealth start-up until this site officially launches. Looks
like we will have a trinary array of web sites, eventually, although this
will be the core site of the online trinity. Our new web site design will
be a new Dominion Class web site, and this may be adopted for Independent
Modeling, as well).
We are an association of professional independent models based out of Tampa
Bay, Florida, which is ground zero for the next modeling industry. We are
the new generation of professional models, and are not dependent upon modeling
agencies, managers, or anyone else to work our careers. We are the future
of the modeling industry. It begins here, in the Tampa Bay modeling market,
now.
The Tampa modeling industry is, in our professional, qualified opinion, corrupt.
Modeling scams mislead people and make money at their expense, pitching the
modeling agencies as the ultimate goal (just like all of the other mindless
followers and con artists do). The modeling agencies, on the other hand, manipulate
models and make money in ways that are unethical, and inappropriate. While
we recognize that modeling and talent agencies are a legitimate part of the
modern modeling industry, and they have a right staying in business finding
modeling jobs for models, we also realize that they should only be used as
one of many sources of modeling jobs, and nothing more. Dear models, the agency
way is no longer the only way of having a modeling career, and it should have
never been that way. Allowing agencies, who are supposed to be working for
the models, to control the modeling industry was, in our educated opinion,
the reason that the modeling industry is so full of modeling scams and horror
stories. That undeserved power is why it is corrupt, and why models have been
limited in the modeling industry.
Models are not longer limited in their careers, and we no longer allow modeling
agencies and modeling scams to have power over us. We have seized power, and
will lead a revolution in the modeling industry. We will bring balance, and
professionalism, to a backwards modeling industry. This is our industry!
About The Model Dominion
The Model Dominion was founded on August 18, 2010, by Independent Modeling,
Tampa Bay Modeling, Florida Modeling Career, and Advanced Model. It is primarily
an Independent Modeling organization, and is a professional modeling association
based, and operated from, Tampa Bay, Florida.
The Model Dominion is made up of aggressive professional models who go out
and find our own modeling jobs, often before agency bookers can obtain those
leads. As a result, our models have a pronounced advantage over modeling and
talent agencies, as well as the models who depend upon agencies for modeling
jobs.
The Model Dominion is not a modeling and talent agency. We do not find modeling
jobs for models, do not charge any fees for referring models to modeling jobs,
and do not manage models in any capacity. The models of the Model Dominion
manage their own careers, find their own modeling job leads, negotiate the
rates for those jobs, and book themselves into the modeling jobs. The models
book full rates, and both the model and the modeling job save money on the
agency fees that they would normally have to pay. Everyone wins but the modeling
agencies, and the agency models.
The models of the Model Dominion may not depend upon modeling agencies, but
like all smart models, they do not exclude them. The modeling agencies are
only one of many sources of modeling jobs, and nothing more. They are now
in their proper place, and they work for independent models; a tool for finding,
and booking, modeling jobs. Well, that is, if we don’t find and book
ourselves into those modeling jobs, first.
As models, are we worried about modeling agencies backlisting us, and denying
us jobs? Not at all. MODELING AGENCIES WORK FOR MODELS, and not the only way
around. They can only make money by finding, and booking, models into jobs.
They have no business telling the models who they work for what to do, especially
when they also work for the competition of the models, who are other models.
Consider this: The professional independent model has the leverage, and calls
the shots. Agency bookers will realize that the independent models will find,
and book, modeling jobs. If the model has a high chance of booking the modeling
job, they have no choice but to work harder to find and refer the modeling
job to the model before the model has a chance to do so on their own. Think
about this. Balance is restored, and the model wins.
Also, professional models know that TFP is a joke, and so are the amateur models and photographers who waste their time with this. If you ar a professional, you respect your career, and your professional credibility, to invest in your career for the marketing and career tools that you need. There is no way that amateur models who do not invest in their careers can compete with professional models who know what they are doing, and who invest in the professional tools that their careers demand. These amateurs, who introduce mayhem into the modeling industry by working in the gutter, will be seen and respected for what they are: a bunch of nothings, mere jokes, who are little more than hobbyists. They can continue to work hard at wasting time, and not making money, while we work professional careers and make money doing what we earned the right to do. We model professionally.
